Une tragicomédie mère-fils, physique, magique et en musique !

Dans « Maman & Garçon » je demande :
La mère : française, blanchisseuse, délaissée et lyrique
Le fils : franco-belge, étudiant, désorienté et pragmatique
Le père : belge, soldat, absent et fantomatique

L’HISTOIRE

Une mère seule, un fils à la frontière du monde adulte, un père disparu…, tels sont les ingrédients de cette tragi-comédie physique, magique et en musique, qui fait ressurgir les fantômes d’un secret de famille et aborde les thèmes du manque affectif, de la filiation, de la transmission et de la réalisation de soi.
Un spectacle interprété en anglais par deux comédiens qui allient mime, magie et musique.

In “Maman & Garçon” I give you:
The mother: a French laundress, abandoned and poetic.
The son: a Franco-Belgian student, lost and pragmatic.
The father: a Belgian soldier, absent and magic.

A single mother, a son on the edge of adulthood, a father gone missing… These are the ingredients which make up our physical, musical and magical tragicomedy, dealing with the ghosts in every familial closet: a lack of affection, a longing for connection and self-realisation in the footsteps of your forebearers.

With the air of an old movie, presented in English by two actors uniting various styles of the popular stage, this performance holds the spectator’s attention on a tightrope-thin line… between dream and reality.
